“We are excited to be hosting the Card Player Poker Tour again this year,” said Vice President of Poker Operations Deb Giardina. “This tour brings many out-of-town players to our facility. Players from cold climates will especially enjoy the perfect weather that Jacksonville, Florida offers in May.”
Orange County Poker Room
The 11-tournament series officially kicks off May 3, with a $100,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em event. This $360 buy-in tournament features four different starting flights spread across May 3-4, with a final day scheduled for May 5.
The series continues with a variety of action-packed events, with buy-ins ranging from just $150 up to the $1,100 buy-in main event. The four-day no-limit hold’em tournament starts May 10 and has two starting flights, which should allow the prize pool to grow well beyond the posted $200,000 guarantee. The past two CPPT bestbet Jacksonville main events have seen the guarantee significantly shattered, eclipsing $360,000 on both occasions.
